Publishing Policy

Saba Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences (SJHSS) adheres to the highest ethical standards in academic publishing, and adopts strict policies to ensure scientific integrity and transparency in research. Publishing ethics include:

1. Academic Integrity
All submitted research must be original and not previously published or under consideration in another journal.
Plagiarism or undocumented citation is prohibited, and all research is reviewed using similarity detection software to ensure scientific authenticity.
2. Credibility and transparency
Authors must provide accurate and verifiable data and information.
Any conflicts of interest or funding that may affect search results must be disclosed.
3.Respecting intellectual property rights
Consents must be obtained for the use of copyrighted data, images or forms.
All citations and references are attributed to their original sources according to the approved documentation standards.
4. Scientific arbitration process
All research is subject to double-blind peer review to ensure an objective and fair evaluation.
Arbitrators are obliged to keep the information confidential and not to use it for any personal or research purposes.
5. Dealing with irregularities
If any ethical irregularities are found, such as data manipulation or plagiarism, the journal takes strict measures, which may include refusing or withdrawing research after publication.

1. Free Access (Open Access)
Sheba Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences is an open access journal, which means that all research is available for free to readers without the need for a subscription.
2. Subscribe to updates

Other instructions for authors
1. Research submission requirements
The research must be written in either Arabic or English in a clear academic language.
Research should include: Summary, introduction, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion, and references.
APA authentication system is required.
2. Search format
Font type:
Arabic: Traditional Arabic Size 14
English: Times New Roman size 12
Distance between lines: Single
Margins: Size (3.5) cm to the right, and (2.5) cm to the rest of the directions
Title, abstract and keywords format. Write this in Arabic and English. Traditional Arabic font size (12) for Arabic. Times New Roman font size (10).
The research board writes in Traditional Arabic (14) for Arabic. Times New Roman, size 12 for English.
Pattern documentation and citation as described in the Authors Manual,
The necessity of romanizing Arabic references in Latin.
3. Publication fee
All research in SJHSS is published free of charge and there are no fees for submitting articles.
The magazine charges a small fee for the arbitration process, coordination, and romanization of sources.
Research of 20-25 pages maximum and fees are added if the number of pages exceeds 25 pages.
4. Duration of arbitration and publication
The scientific judging process takes 4 to 6 weeks.
The accepted research is published in the next available issue of the journal.
