Focus and Scope
Journal of Life Science Studies is an open access, quick-refereeing journal of life sciences that is published online. It publishes reviews, research papers, and communications in all areas of life sciences as well as the intersection of relevant disciplines. The Journal of Studies in Life Sciences is dedicated to publishing a wide range of topics in life sciences, with scientific excellence as the most important sole criterion for acceptance. Articles must, thus, pose and test a significant hypothesis that will provide novel perspectives and approaches to understanding the life sciences and will pique the interest of the journal's broad readership. One of the journal's main goals is to urge scientists to disclose as much detail in their experimental and theoretical conclusions as feasible. Moreover, it encourages cross-disciplinary communication in the biological sciences, both by publishing key findings of public interest from other domains and by publishing highly accessible editorial articles that expressly aim to inform non-specialists.
The core disciplines in life sciences that are published in the journal include, but not limited to, the following:
Bacteriology, biochemistry, biodiversity, bioethics, bioinformatics, biomathematics, biophysics, biostatistics, botany, cell biology, conservation, developmental biology, education in biology and related disciplines, entomology, evolutionary biology, genetics, genomics, immunology, marine biology, mathematical biology, medicine, microbiology, molecular biology, neurobiology, neuroscience, ornithology, paleo biology, paleontology, parasitology, pharmacology, physiology, plant biology, proteomics, radiation biology, reproductive biology, structural biology, systems biology, virology and zoology.
